Australian College of Hospitality and Retail includes SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol of competency in the qualification structure. However, the unit must be completed externally through another registered training organisation. If you have already completed this unit, simply provide us with a copy of your Statement of Attainment or Statement of Results from the registered training organisation to apply for credit transfer. If you do not already hold this unit, you will need to source another registered training organisation to complete the unit and provide us with a copy of your Statement of Attainment upon successful completion to apply for credit transfer.

ACOHR provides learners with a flexible learning option, where those who wish to study by distance instead of online, can be issued with workbooks for each unit. These workbooks contain learning materials and assessment questions the same as the online option. Workbooks are posted out to learners five at a time. There is a one-off postage fee of $99 to cover postage of all workbooks.
As an entry requirement of the course the student must acknowledge that they must organised a suitable work placement with the required resources, equipment and facility in accordance with the work placement checklist. This work placement checklist is provided in the enrolment application. The student needs to complete the checklist to confirm the suitability of the work placement site and submit via email to [email protected] for approval.

This course is self-paced meaning that learners have maximum flexibility to manage their time to work and study will still have one on one access to their trainer. Our user-friendly online material is well designed to perfectly fit the needs or requirements of learners who would like to cut out travel time and face to face group sessions. Students have up to 24 months to complete their studies (an additional 6 month extension is available – conditions apply).

All training is provided online or via distance education (hard copy workbooks will be posted to you). You will be required to undertake 144 hours of work placement
Participants will be required to undertake a minimum of 144 hours of professional industry work placement in a suitably resourced workplace for successful completion of this qualification. It is the responsibility of the learner to source a suitably equipped and resourced workplace to undertake their work placement. However, our qualified trainers are able to provide advice and support if required. It is the responsibility of the learner to retain a copy of any assessment sent to the College. Posted materials are to be sent by registered post to guarantee delivery.
